Promote sales of ADM fertilizer within Regina region
Develop lasting relationships with key customers to maximize sales
Coordinate sales execution with terminal employees
Promote blended fertilizer sales
Assist in product procurement necessary to distribute throughout the region
Responsible for proper customer account maintenance, including A / R and logistics for ADM contracts
Key Technical Skills and Knowledge :
To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria :
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Canadian Ag markets
Demonstrated capacity to excel within high risk, fast-paced work environment
Proven ability to assess risk and exercise sound judgment in making decisions
Demonstrated negotiation and interpersonal skills along with understanding of how to sell to customers
Exceptional communication skills; able to communicate with all levels of the organization; portray positive image of self and company at all times
Willingness to live in Canada
Committed to corporate ethics policies and safety programs
Required Skills :
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, Access, Outlook) and social media communication
Proficient in mobile apps and mobile technology used inside our retail platforms
Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or business (i.e. economics, finance, accounting), supplemented with a range of 0 to 10 years of sales’ experience in the marketing of fertilizer commodities or general Ag sector;
equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
