We are currently looking a Technical Advisor (Integrated System Support) for one of our opportunities in the Greater Toronto Area

The Technical Advisor ISS reports to the VP PMO, Service Delivery or his / her designate. He / she works at client sites that are subject to strict security protocols.

His / her duties will include programming, commissioning and troubleshooting systems for and / or at the customer locations, documenting service executed.

He / she must adequately focus his / her efforts in promoting, assisting, executing and structuring the ISS mandates including the management of the Symmetry CONNECT program or other platforms and PSIM’s.

Responsibilities :

  • Test, upgrade and, on occasion, install and / or repair electronic security systems, access control devices, and CCTV systems, to include both equipment and infrastructure;
  • Assists in, and is responsible for, the successful completion of all assigned projects and / or within the scope of their work area;
  • Provide internal expertise and support in order to contribute to the enrichment and added knowledge of the team;
  • Identify training or suggestions required to enhance his knowledge and skill level and remain available to attend symposiums or seminars relating to such knowledge enhancement;
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and available to work outside regular hours as per projects requirements and emergencies;
  • Reads building, electrical, and other blueprints, as required;
  • Follows proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures;
  • Interacts with customers and vendors in a positive, timely, and professional manner;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication, and customer service skills a must;
  • Complies with all local safety and security rules and regulations as required by the client;
  • Suggest means of improving the company’s customer service;
  • Requirements (experience / skills / clearance) :

  • Must have 5+ years experience in field of work
  • Knowledge of Communications in GP test equipment, commercial and personal computers and their peripherals as well as MS Office Suite software experience.
  • Security Clearance : Secret
