Jim Pattison Auto Body & Glass is hiring a Body Shop Estimator to join our team!

Job Summary :

Reporting to the Body Shop Manager , you will be passionate about providing an exceptional and successful customer experience while consistently completing accurate collision appraisals of the damages for insurance and customer vehicles.

The Estimator plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer's experience by ensuring each appraisal accurately outlines the required repairs to ensure a profitable and quality repair while working in alignment with all team members in achieving the repair facilities KPI's.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintaining a friendly demeanor while performing duties around the body shop.
  • Examine and accurately estimate vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, electrical, refinish,
  • and interior damage.

  • Accurately verify the information and complete estimates in a timely manner.
  • Clear communication between dealership and clients.
  • Ensure proper documentation and paperwork are completed and uploaded.
  • Participate in production meetings.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Technical Skills :

  • Use programs such as Mitchell UltraMate, Mitchell Connect, Mitchell Tech Advisor, OEM Repair Procedures, and MPI policies and procedures.
  • Communicate and negotiate with insurance claims appraisers.
  • Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative.
  • Ability to multi-task and keep organized in a timely manner.
  • Detail-oriented and accurate in all work and communication.
