What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Site Supervisor you will be the expert in operating auxiliary equipment in the maintenance of all equipment and the loading, mixing, unloading, and preparation of explosive products for the customer in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
You will be part of a dynamic team that drives to maintain safety throughout the company. Other duties will include :
Perform basic maintenance of assigned vehicles in order assure its reliability and safe operation.
Read gauges and make adjustments to equipment to maintain proper performance in order to assure quality and accurate product delivery.
Assist Equipment Operators and Blasters at blast site in order to safely serve the customer.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions in shop, while operating equipment, and while on blast sites in order to protect personal safety and the safety of others
Comply with appropriate areas of the HSE Management System and DNNA Engineering Standards.
Proactively support Safety programs by participating in training and safety meetings.
What We’re Looking For :
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
Good work habits. Prior manual labor experience preferred
Ability to read, write and speak English and to communicate in written and verbally
Present oneself in a professional manner at all times.
Satisfactory completion of and demonstrated competencies in DNNA specified training modules, including technical, regulatory and other applicable skill based training.
Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
