RESPONSIBILITIES (could include, but are not limited to) :

  • Support current BI / Analytics processes, enterprise data warehouse and reporting solutions;
  • Install, configure and administer Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition;
  • Install, configure and administer Oracle Data Integration;
  • Install, Patch, and Configure OBIEE 12c environment;
  • Troubleshoot any issues within the OBIEE technical environment;
  • Complete performance tuning;
  • Assist with any redesigns or process changes to improve performance and usability of the enterprise data warehouse and reporting solutions;
  • Complete setup and integration of OBIEE / OBIA with various components of the environment;
  • Support the Testing and CM teams for Functional / Security and Performance Testing, code packaging and code migration to testing and production environments;
  • Work closely with BI development team to define requirements and develop solutions to complex problems; and
  • Other tasks and activities as assigned or directed.

  • University degree in a related field, or a suitable combination of education and previous work experience;
  • Hands-on installation, patching, and configuration of all components of OBIA version 11.1.1.x;
  • Hands-on installation, patching, and configuration of all components of OBIEE version 12g;
  • Hands-on implementation experience with high availability architecture for OBIEE / OBIA;
  • Hands-on implementation experience with SSO and multiple authentication providers;
  • Strong understanding in WebLogic and fusion middleware administration;
  • Experience in Oracle RDMBS versions 11g,12c,19c;
  • Experience using a Linux operating system;
  • Experience using Oracle management tools (Data Guard, RMAN, Data pump);
  • Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices;
  • Good interpersonal skills, and strong customer service orientation;
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, demonstrate strong problem solving skills;
  • Highly self-motivated and directed;
  • Keen attention to detail, and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment; and
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • DeltaWare employees are required to travel periodically.
