OsgoodePD is a revenue-generating professional education business designed to serve working legal professionals and others who have a need for current legal information in Canada and internationally.
OsgoodePD offers both degree and non-degree programs. Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Enrolment Management, the Manager, Marketing will oversee the development of strategic initiatives and tactical plans to effectively promote OsgoodePD's Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and LLM Graduate programs and increase OsgoodePD's brand awareness among its target audiences.
While managing the efforts of Marketing Assistants, the incumbent will be responsible for the timely execution and delivery of digital and print communications, social media initiatives, and printed and digital advertising efforts.
Undergraduate degree in a related field such as business, marketing, journalism or communications, or undergraduate degree plus professional certificate or diploma in a related field.
Certificate or diploma in marketing, digital marketing or analytics is an asset.
The incumbent must have at least 5 years of digital and print promotional marketing experience within a B2B environment in addition to a minimum of 3 years managing staff and vendors.
Experience leading a multi-disciplinary team including recruitment, performance mentoring, task prioritization and time-management.
An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.) Experience in a unionized environment is considered an asset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with focus on promotional messaging to B2B audiences. Extensive direct marketing expertise including, promotional copywriting and editing of brochures, email campaigns and website content.
Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Working knowledge and understanding of third-party email distribution, CRM and automated marketing solutions.
Proven experience developing relationships and working with external vendors in a B2B service marketing role, specifically in the production and execution of direct mail, targeted social media and print and digital advertising.
Experience managing paid online advertising campaigns (sponsored social media, pay-per-click), A-B testing, and a thorough understanding of website analytics (Google Analytics).
Demonstrated experience in marketing performance measurement, benchmarking, and ROI analysis. Financial / budget planning, forecasting and management.
In-depth knowledge of social media best practices and insight tracking, specifically for Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram.
Demonstrated leadership skills. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment and with multiple stakeholders.
Exceptional service orientation. Excellent project management skills and project prioritization acumen. Conflict resolutions skills pertaining to project planning, prioritization and scheduling with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Good pricing, scheduling and negotiation skills to work with multiple external suppliers.
Additional Notes :
The position is situated at Osgoode Hall Law School at the York University Keele Street Campus. However, the individual is required to attend meetings and events at OsgoodePD's facility in Downtown Toronto.
There is the need to participate in meetings with internal and external personnel via Zoom, Skype and WebEx.
