    We are looking for an Estate Associate Client Solutions, to join our Operations Services Department which is a strategic component of Client Services.

    Operations Services provides administrative and servicing support for multiple lines of business including Mortgages, Insurance, IGFS, IGFS Nominee and IGSI and provides administrative processing and servicing support to Investors Group Clients, Consultant Network, Planning Specialists and Regional Offices.

    The individual in this role will serve as a Single Point of Contact to internal and external clients assisting with inquiries pertaining to account valuation including capital gain / loss, tax reporting, and policy & procedure information through email, telephone and letter correspondence.

    This individual is also responsible for the review and approval of all legal documents, as well as the on-line processing for all deceased client products and accounts.

    The main responsibility is to accurately, professionally and effectively handle inquiries through acquired product knowledge.

    Responsibilities include :

  • Prepare letters in a prompt and efficient manner providing instructions and requirements on how to settle the Investors Group accounts.
  • Respond to daily correspondence and communicate legal information to clients, executors, lawyers, region offices, and Consultants.

  • Calculate deceased tax information, capital gain / loss values, adjusted cost base and processing any necessary on-line transactions.
  • Settling of all deceased client accounts which includes redemptions, transfers, account and tax adjustments, service set-up and adjustments and the awarding of Consultant credits through the Sales Production system.
  • Handle escalated issues and resolving / recommending solutions for client complaints and complex servicing issues.
  • Contributing to monthly reporting by maintaining personal processing records.
  • Qualifications :

  • Minimum 2 years investment client servicing experience.
  • Post secondary degree / diploma in a relevant business discipline.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to frequently changing priorities.
  • Excellent data entry skills and experience using Windows NT, Word, Excel and Microsoft Access.
