Our E-Commerce team within our Orckestra product is looking for a Manager, Solution Delivery that will support project managers to ensure that projects deliveries are made within deadlines and budgets.
He will also have to interact with customers to an executive level to provide overall project status, issues resolution and escalation process.
His role will align on delivery approach, tools and processes with other internal teams, sharing / implementing best practices, whilst supporting technology solutions initiatives where relevant.
Main responsibilities :
Support project managers in project delivery by providing access to internal and external required support within all delivery phases;
Ensure that the delivery is compliant and meets the client’s needs and expectations;
Take a proactive part in suggesting technologies, tools and approaches;
Contribute to best practices, processes and the company’s delivery management knowledge base;
Act as a central point of communication between the Product Management and Technology teams on development-oriented projects;
Act as a buffer for the team against external distractions and contextual changes, effectively identifying and removing obstacles;
Proactively manage risks and issues related to the business area in a timely manner and make decisions to mitigate or resolve them as appropriate;
Work closely with project managers to ensure RAIDS are fully documented, mitigated, and escalated as required;
Ensure regular reporting is provided as required against the roadmap, plans and KPIs including KPIs and OKRs;
Govern delivery between stakeholders, manage complicated technology issues, ensure design, code and overall solution are of impeccable quality;
Be fully accountable for the overall customer experience in terms of delivery;
Take a proactive role in contributing to build and share best practices and processes for delivery management within the company;
Understand the financial models of the service business and manage the budgeting and forecasting wisely;
Manage within the approved financial targets, report on financial progress and success, analyze performance and implement improvement measures.
Desired profile :
Ability to understand Big Picture as well as to dive into project-level details;
Ability to establish and manage at scale in multi-region setup;
Strong communication skills, and proven ability to handle conflicts and taking on responsibility;
Domain knowledge of Retail / e-Commerce industries;
Strong knowledge of leading Digital and Omni-channel solutions;
Azur cloud services knowledge.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, or relevant fields;
10+ years of experience in software delivery or project Management;
5+ years in positions of Delivery / Team Lead, Solution / Enterprise Architect, or Delivery / Project / Program Manager;
Experience delivering web applications using DevOps approach on a Cloud Service;
Strong Software Engineering / Solutions architect background;
Solid experience in managing delivery engagements end-to-end on teams averaging 10 20 people in total;
Experience in governing project delivery across the board of all stakeholders and proven track record in handling complicated engineering issues, assuring quality and timely delivery;
Experience with outcome-based setups, delivering on hard commitments and fixed timelines;
Agile / Scrum experience is a must.
