currently seeking a highly motivated, experienced contract Manager, Communications & Partnerships to provide leadership and expertise in this area.
The Manager will develop and foster relationships of strategic importance which support TGLN in achieving its objectives of increasing consent for donation and encouraging a culture of donation in Ontario.
Specifically, this job is responsible for guiding the development of strategies and programs, and overseeing the implementation of those programs, which support and foster relationships with key stakeholders and partners as part of achievement of objectives.
This position will be reporting to the Director, Public Education & Marketing. Duties & Responsibilities :
Work with Director to establish objectives for advocates program and oversee development and implementation of related programs to effectively support and leverage volunteer involvement in achievement of objectives.
Work collaboratively to ensure alignment of goals and tactics throughout the team and appropriate allocation of resources.
Work with Director to establish objectives for building and supporting key stakeholder partnerships, including ServiceOntario, government, hospitals, NGOs, and community groups.
Support and manage achievement of communications objectives.
Provide leadership to team; this includes sharing knowledge and best practices.
Contribute to the development of strategies to meet TGLN objectives, and lead development and implementation of related plans.
Work with Director to ensure departmental programs are aligned in terms of objective and incorporating appropriate messaging and scope.
Participate in special projects or added support for ongoing initiatives.
Lead specific or key relationships or projects (i.e. working on the project / relationship day-to-day).
Performs other duties consistent with role profile, as required.
Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Arts, Science, Humanities, Management.
Six (6) years of work experience in a communications capacity or relevant field, with leadership and management experience in a comparable environment.
Demonstrated strengths in strategy development and planning related to community relations and / or partnership development with advocates / volunteers and / or other experience developing strategic programs with / for stakeholders;
experience within government an asset.
Able to guide, motivate and mentor team towards achievement of goals and objectives.
Demonstrated experience in program planning, including leadership and implementation.
Strong organizational and time / budget management skills, able to prioritize multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment, while paying close attention to detail.
Highly developed written and oral communications, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office : Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
