The Role :

  • Partner with managers and employees to resolve employment issues
  • Champion employee engagement and look for opportunities to increase overall engagement
  • Coach and guide managers on succession planning and performance management
  • Work closely with the talent acquisition team as required
  • Participate in broader HR initiative and projects as required
  • The Ideal Candidate :

  • 4+ years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a large corporate setting
  • Previous experience with employee relations, performance management, and employee engagement
  • Extensive knowledge of human resources and applicable legislation
  • Demonstrated experience coaching managers and employees on a wide range of HR issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of an organization
  • Related post-secondary education
  • CPHR designation (or interest in pursuing) is an asset
