At Alert Labs, we are passionate about saving wasted water, protecting our customers’ property portfolios, and improving the operational efficiencies of Property Managers, REITs, Multi-Dwelling Units, school boards, and restaurants.

We are looking for experienced business development and account management folks to help to spread the word about how our products can significantly reduce water costs and help to avoid property damage.

We sell products across North American to channel partners in the HVAC, Insurance, and Property Management space. Alert Labs is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Watsco, Inc the largest HVAC distributor in North America.

Watsco’s revenue in 2019 was $4.8 Billion USD, and it is publicly traded on the NYSE (WSO). job description We need you to be excellent at identifying, engaging and closing new customers.

As a hunter’, you need to be naturally scrappy and relentless. We need you to share our vision of how simple-to-use technology can transform the way our properties and businesses are managed, and to work with our customers in their own business growth and transformation.

We need you to demonstrate how Alert Labs can make business life easier and better for our customers, and their customers.

You will align your efforts with our marketing and customer care teams to ensure that our message reaches the right customers.

You will work closely with our engineers and scientists to identify new products and features that our customers will love.

what will you do? Find new target customers and manage the sales cycle through to securing a deal Unearth new sales opportunities using all the tools at your disposal (your existing network, research, etc.

and create long term partnerships Provide professional after-sales support to build customer loyalty and satisfaction Negotiate agreements and track progress and deals in our online systems Act as the point of contact for clients and manage key accounts Work with our Customer Care team to resolve problems Monitor and report on sales performance metrics what skills do you need?

3-10 years of experience in business development, channel sales, or account management A background in Property Management, Utilities Management, Plumbing, or Water Conservation / Sustainability Self-motivation, with proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals Knowledge of marketing research, sales, and negotiating principles Excellent communication / presentation skills and ability to build relationships Experience promoting a SaaS service or service business is a benefit Apply at jointheteam
