As a Module Supervisor, you supervise and coordinate production activities and a team of factory employees, ensuring that effective and efficient production methods are employed while consistently meeting our quality standards.

Key responsibilities and accountability (including but not limited to) :

  • You lead a strong team by fostering a positive and high performance culture through motivating, empowering and enabling operators to be at their best
  • You ensure that relevant KPI’s are set, communicated and achieved on a regular basis and proactively address issues and concerns for your team
  • You monitor and assess employee performance and provide feedback to ensure timely training and work force planning; recognize or take disciplinary actions when necessary
  • You coordinate proper training for new and existing employees in order to pipeline new talents and strengthen skill level and foster a collaborative team base environment which promotes knowledge sharing and cross training of skills
  • You efficiently plan the distribution of work to ensure a constant flow of work to the entire team; liaise with raw materials and planning teams and prepare production plan to meet customer deliver dates
  • You ensure continuous improvements of effective and efficient production
  • You work closely with the engineering team to ensure your team has all the information and tools to be successful. Such as updated and accurate (SAM’s), layout, and equipment
  • You participate in development initiatives and meetings and introduce sample and new products with good production procedures
  • You liaise with Quality Assurance department to ensure clear, universal quality assurance standard is provided and applied;
  • perform root cause analysis and corrective and preventative action planning to ensure customer satisfaction and integrity of the brand

  • You ensure that equipment is repaired, maintained, and properly adjusted
  • You ensure that employee’s timesheets are accurate, with timework properly coded
  • You promote a clean and safe working environment by following 5S principles
  • You perform other duties and special projects as assigned, which may include LEAN manufacturing, health and safety, best place to work, factory tour and improvements
  • Additional experience, education and / or skills (required) :

  • You have 5+ year experience in apparel industry and manufacturing environment in a leadership role
  • You have strong knowledge base in all aspects of clothing construction
  • You have strong leadership ability and team building skills
  • You have knowledge and experience working with LEAN, 5S and KPI
  • You have effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • You have effective organizational and problem solving skills with a high degree of resourcefulness, flexibility and adaptability
  • You are a team player and interface with cross functional teams with diplomacy
  • You have strong computer skills including good working knowledge in MS Office
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration
  • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
  • You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
