Hours : Monday to Sunday Days and Evenings - Rotating 8 and 12 hour shifts, (Hours subject to change based on operational needs)

This is what you’ll be doing :

  • Preparation of dialysis machines and related supplies for patient treatments.
  • Cleaning and sanitization of the dialysis equipment.
  • Obtaining patients' weight and vital sign information pre and post dialysis.
  • Maintaining stock levels of medical and surgical supplies.
  • Transport of patients.
  • Other related duties as required.

  • O.S.S.D Diploma with some post secondary healthcare training required
  • Renal Assistant Certificate an asset
  • Previous dialysis experience required
  • Healthcare experience required
  • Must have strong mechanical aptitude
  • Proficiency with computer applications
  • Knowledge of sterile / aseptic techniques
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Technically oriented
  • Ability to perform some heavy lifting required
  • Satisfactory employment and attendance record
  • The ideal candidate is strong in patient centred care in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and should be ready to drive change and innovation.

    We require a person with good communication skills with a clear patient focus with the ability to manage execution and to foster teamwork and cooperation.
