Create a work environment that promotes cross training, learning, sharing and trust across businesses and technical consulting teams.
Perform planning and scheduling to identify and mitigate risks associated with staff availability both current and forecasted service delivery needs.
Drive continuous process improvement of best practices, methodologies, and process control by establishing and monitoring clear objectives for the services team.
Develop operations-related plans, budgets, policies and procedures to achieve the organization's customer satisfaction and revenue objectives.
Work closely with Project Managers to ensure the on-time and on-budget completion of projects with the highest level of quality and customer service.
Monitor the utilization, performance and profitability of the services delivery team by tracking and analyzing statistics and trends in order to provide financial, project, and customer satisfaction reporting to the Senior Management Team.
Monitor and initiate initiatives to improve and broaden skillsets and technical / business competencies of all service consultants
Provide proactive customer follow up, communication & issue management.
Build a recognition system that accurately rewards the behaviors that best serve our customers.
Oversee the onboarding process for new hires to ensure they are given the training, mentoring and tools required to be successful.
7+ years of direct technical and / or professional services consulting management experience
Experience in managing technical and business analyst / consultant teams in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
Highly driven, results-oriented, and able to manage time with competing priorities.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve goals, improve performance, and emphasize teamwork.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while effectively managing priorities for Harris corporate, our customers, and our employees.
Ability to analyze information to make independent decisions quickly and effectively.
Directly responsible for annual services-related revenues (P&L, balance sheets, OPEX and revenue forecasting).
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science or Information Systems related discipline or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of enterprise, business-critical, software / database applications would be considered an asset.
Strong Project Management skills (PMP certification would be considered an asset).
Understanding of the Utility and Municipal business, and / or experience with enterprise software would be considered an asset.
