Heavy Equipment Operator (Mining, Fly-in Fly-out)

This is a key role at a large, reputable, and exciting mining project in the Nunavut Territory. Join the operations team and help keep the ore moving and the mine site running.

Five years of experience in the mining sector as a Heavy Equipment Operator is required. Expertise and proficiency in operating Shovels, Excavators, Graders, Dozers, Loaders, Backhoes, Telehandlers, and other off-road mobile equipment is mandatory.

Experience operating winch and shunt trucks, fuel and lube trucks, and tractor-trailers is also required along with a Class 1 Drivers license and / or recognized industry certifications.

Flights, hotels, and in-transit meals are provided plus access to on-site room and board (including recreational amenities).

This position includes a competitive rate, daily overtime, 12-hour workdays, and an even in’ and out’ steady work rotation (14-14 or 21-21).

Priority will be given to candidates with remote arctic experience and regional proximity to the mine site and / or designated roster points.
