This is a full-time (35-40h / week) summer internship from May to August, with varied shifts.

At Bus.com, we're building the future of group travel.

We're disrupting a $6B charter bus industry by shifting it online and allowing event organizers to move large groups to their destinations with ease.

In 3 years we have run thousands of trips for hundreds of thousands of people, including professional sports teams, major tech companies, international music festivals, and everyone in between.

We're an early-stage startup with tons of heart here, you'll have an opportunity to make a big impact on a great team with an exciting product that's growing extremely fast.

About the Role :

At Bus.com, we run a high volume of trips everyday but for our customers, it's once in a lifetime experience. That's why we work hard to deliver world class customer service, 24 / 7.

You'll be helping event organizers and riders use our platform, answer any questions and make suggestions on trip feasibility, pricing, availability, policies, etc.

You'll be on the front line for emergencies. You will process client issues & complaints. You will find creative ways to satisfy and impress customers through every interaction.

The day-to-day :

  • Answer customers emails, live chats and phone calls in a timely and courteous manner
  • Assist customers in managing their Bus.com accounts
  • Be an expert on our product
  • Think on your feet to devise creative solutions to any and all problems that arise
  • What we're looking for :

  • Previous experience in a customer service role
  • Strong communication & people skills, with a commitment to service
  • The ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing environments, and resolve ambiguities with well thought-out decisions
  • Fluent written / oral English is required, French and other languages is an asset
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts (weekends and nights)
  • Experience in startups, tourism / travel agencies is an asset
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Intercom, Salesforce, Front is an asset
