Reporting to the Director, Management Talent Acquisition (MTA), the Research Analyst develops candidate identification strategies to accurately target potential candidates in the market that would be appropriate for roles which fall under the scope of the MTA portfolio.

Ultimately, this will assist the health authority in meeting strategic goals and improve recruitment practices and services that maximize the organization’s brand and promote Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) as a People First employer.

With thorough research, the new Research Analyst will build a pipeline of candidates throughout Canada and globally. Capturing accurate market data on potential candidates in VCH knowledge systems will be key, and will contribute to a proactive culture of talent acquisition.

Participating in weekly meetings with the MTA team, presenting research progress, and identifying any gaps to the team will be critical in this role.

Preliminary screening and assessment of candidates will also be a part of the Research Analysts responsibility to identify the best candidates for each role in the portfolio.


Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Human Resources or a related field, and at least three (3) years’ experience in a role from within a recruitment firm or an organization that has a similar in-

house talent acquisition program.
