IITB is a national organization, with a wide variety of work that can be performed regardless of geographic location. However, certain positions may require a physical presence at a specific location.

A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions within department of the Employment and Social Development Canada with various tenures and / or various language requirements and / or locations.

E1 A secondary school diploma or acceptable combination of education, training and / or experience.

Stream 2

E2 Successful completion of post-secondary education with specialization in a related field* or an acceptable combination of education, training and / or experience.

  • Archives and Records Management, Information Studies, Informatics, Information Scences, Library Sciences, Digital Business, Business Analysis, Data Management
  • Stream 1

    EX1. Experience in providing Information Management (IM) advice, guidance and recommendations

    EX2. Experience in interpreting and administering IM related policies and directives.

    EX3. Experience in the design and delivery of IM training or awareness sessions.

    Stream 2

    EX4. Experience in developing file classification plans or records management classifications within professional or academic setting.

    Or experience developing and maintaining a system to classify, store and facilitate the retrieval of records / documents.

    EX5. Experience performing independent research gathering information from various sources, and summarizing findings and drawing recommendations.

    Or experience in assessing information management or records management client requirements and proposing options and recommending solutions.

    AEX2. Experience supporting clients in the functional, configuration or implementation or maintenance or use of an Electronic Document Records Management System (EDRMS)

    management framework

    AEX4. Experience in developing and implementing an IM quality assurance program.

    AE5. Experience supervising staff.
