As Project Manager, Construction and Development, you will manage medium-scale real estate projects of moderate to high complexity and materiality, particularly in terms of the construction, redesign or renovation of rental properties and spaces under corporate management and in the caisse network.

You will serve as a resource person and provide assistance with certain aspects of projects and the monitoring processes.

Coordination is critical, and you will interact with various stakeholders who work in complementary fields of expertise. Therefore, you will need highly developed interpersonal skills.

Main responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities related to the execution of real-estate construction and development projects.
  • Serve as a resource person and provide assistance to clients and colleagues concerning certain aspects of real estate projects and monitoring processes for executing such projects.
  • Identify and analyze the impact and problems of projects on client activities and operations and recommend solutions according to current standards, policies and laws.
  • Select partners required for project execution and coordinate the activities of stakeholders in accordance with current standards, practices, procedures and established methods.
  • Identify the steps required to carry out projects, and establish and monitor project budgets and deadlines.
  • Monitor deadlines in order to enhance and optimize all project phases.
  • Propose solutions and action plans in line with the organization’s orientations and objectives.
  • Help the team solve complex problems that require analysis and in-depth understanding of the line of business.

  • Qualification s

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, interior design
  • Project management experience (an asset)
  • At least four years of experience managing office renovation / construction projects
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • PMP-certified (an asset)
  • For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required
  • Specific knowledges

    Knowledge of MS Project Independent speaker, intermediate knowledge of English
