Shopify Plus is looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager to define, build, and scale our digital marketing efforts, including our website strategy, conversion optimization plan, as well as paid and organic channel marketing efforts, in order to deliver a unified and seamless experience for our merchant to interact with our brand across multiple channels.
As the Senior Digital Marketing Manager for Shopify Plus, you will be responsible for the strategy, planning, execution, and scaling of our global website and channel marketing plans to reach and acquire new merchants.
Reporting into the Head of Demand Generation, you will work collaboratively across channel leads in both Shopify and Shopify Plus, including Integrated Marketing, UX, Sales, Events, Content, Web, and Product Marketing, as well as external partners to manage and optimize the performance of our channel strategies.
You’re able to think in the long- and short-term, understanding the importance of building foundational elements, while at the same time not losing sight of the aspirational.

to medium-sized teams. You will be the key person in executing programmatic strategy and tactics across all paid marketing including search, display, social, content syndication.
In addition, you will manage our marketing automation strategy and planning by collaborating with our integrated marketing team.
You will be the cross-functional lead for our website strategy, and are proficient in getting your hands into data, understanding user behaviour, and also translating this into actionable recommendations.

You'll get to do things like :
Lead the acquisition marketing strategy by partnering with the appropriate cross-functional partners including growth, data, UX, and campaigns
Represent the Shopify Plus digital experience in discussions about our digital channels including the website, social, search, and third-party channels
Strong, proven leadership abilities in being able to build, lead, and manage a growth / digital marketing team
Develop, execute, and manage the acquisition strategy by integrating with the wider marketing plans that span international, events, web, content, partner, and product marketing
Partner with our Growth Marketing team to develop plans, and find new and innovative ways to optimize across search, display, social, email automation, content syndication, as well as experimental channels
Leverage CRM and performance data to tell a compelling user experience story, track conversion rates across the funnel, and make improvements to the website experience
Evaluate regional merchant research, market conditions and competitor data to inform decisions
Review new technologies and keep the business at the forefront of developments in acquisition marketing
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners including marketing, sales, and merchants
Responsible for planning and budgetary control of all acquisition marketing
You'll need to have :
Rich integrated, B2B marketing experience
The ability to lead in rapidly changing business environments and situations and effectively negotiate to gain resolution
The ability to assess and implement successful and focused, acquisition marketing plans
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey business and technical concepts to both subject matter experts and non-
The ability to present compelling business cases to stakeholders
Experience in managing return on investment objectives
The ability to create digital marketing forecasts and manage budgets
The ability to influence cross functional teams and champion new concepts and ideas
Strong expertise in managing and optimizing paid search, social, content syndication programs for multiple products
Digital media buying, booking digital media campaigns, and optimization
Understanding of CRM and digital platforms Salesforce, Marketo, DMP, attribution modelling systems, Mode / Tableau / Wave, GA360, etc.
The ability to report on campaign results to evaluate media performance and drive insights
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
Experience evaluating digital creative and campaign landing pages
Knowledge of effective creative messaging
