Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Contracts Manager, we'll count on you to :

  • Manage contractual formation and management, obligations of high risk and visibility
  • Provide contractual expertise in implementation, execution and administration of federal projects
  • Provide guidance and leadership to cross-functional business team members
  • Mentor less-experienced contract professionals
  • Supervise and direct daily activities of contract professionals from simple, routine to highly complex contractual arrangements of strategic importance, per client directives and company policies and procedures
  • Develop new contract policies and processes, or assessment of required deviations from established norm as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed
  • Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years contract-related experience; advanced degree or contract certification program may substitute for years of experience
  • Advanced knowledge of contracting concepts and company and client requirements
  • Requires high degree of independent and creative judgment applied to highest-level goals and objectives of the corporation
  • Understands the business case and has an appreciation of financial / analytical issues and profit and loss implications
  • Ability to mentor and manage staff
  • Ability to address questions and issues across all levels of the company or other parties involved
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to interpret construction schedules
  • Revit proficiency an asset
