    This allows the medical team to focus on practicing first-rate medicine, and allows the clinic’s staff, clients, and patients to benefit from experienced business operators and managers. The Role

    Reporting to the Manager, IT Operations, the IT Purchasing Specialist will oversee the day-to-day procurement of IT hardware and software, IT vendor management, equipment tracking, overseeing the movement of hardware for VetStrategy clinics across Canada and invoice validation and reconciliation. Responsibilities

  • Receive, fulfill and track clinic IT hardware / software procurement requests
  • Maintain IT hardware inventory
  • Maintain IT software catalog
  • Coordinate hardware and software deployment and installations with internal IT teams and external support vendors
  • Background, Experience and Qualifications

  • College or University degree or equivalent experience
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, requiring little direction with procurement or project coordination experience is highly desirable
  • Superior customer service experience is required to nurture positive relationships
  • Previous experience successfully interfacing with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Well organized and detail oriented, excellent time management skills with the ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills over the phone, in person, and through email.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and solve problems
  • Ability to multitask daily projects and commitments and the ability to work independently
  • Highly motivated, action-oriented, and results driven with a positive can do’ attitude
  • Extremely high-energy, tenacious, and lots of hustle’
  • Collaborative, and comfortable in a team-oriented environment
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours
  • Comfortable working in a pet friendly environment
