Job Summary :
Responsible for the development and execution of marketing initiatives for the Monthly / FRP portfolio of brands within CooperVision.
Leads the annual business review / brand planning process, forecasting, ECP communication strategy, promotional activity, product messaging and branding for all current and future products in the Monthly / FRP portfolio.
The position has a significant impact on sales revenue and market share of CooperVision products in Canada.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities :
Brand Management Monthly / FRP portfolio
In conjunction with Director of Marketing, develops marketing strategies and brand plans for Monthly / FRP portfolio.
Responsible for development and implementation of advertising, sales collateral, and digital assets for specific brands by working with internal colleagues and other agency partners
Develops fiscal sales budgets, objectives, and tactics for all managed products.
Serves as key interface with sales organization to ensure that managed brand marketing strategies are well communicated and executed and that all necessary support is available to ensure effective execution.
Coordinates monthly demand forecast with Director of Marketing. Participates in unplanned re-forecasting as necessary.
Develops and oversees marketing spending, A&P budgets, ensuring spending matches agreed budgets.
Evaluates and analyzes competitive trends and market dynamics and makes necessary recommendations to management to ensure competitive positioning and develops appropriate responses.
Conducts analysis of promotions and events to determine ROI and viability for repeated use.
Leads new products and program development teams as needed.
Works with Customer Marketing Manager as required to support key corporate account initiatives and private label business.
Works with the Global Marketing and Regional / US teams as required on strategic product initiatives.
Develops and implements sales promotions and advertising campaigns to support promoted brands.
Participates in the annual development of regional objectives as set out in the long-range strategic plan.
Performs other duties related to marketing and / or product management and value-added services as required.
Co-travels with Territory Managers on a regular basis and attend trade shows / conventions as required.

Minimum of 3-5 years related experience in sales or marketing. Related technical background preferred. Previous Vision Care / Medial device experience desirable but not critical.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree desirable but not critical.
