We are currently seeking a Full-time, Team Assistant (Monday through Friday, hours may vary) for the PSS and Private Services Program.

As a Team Assistant within our Kanata location, you’ll be part of a team assisting the Private supervisor to provide administrative and billing support to both patients and care providers.

You must be driven to help others in a compassionate and caring way while balancing the pressures of a busy environment.

As a Team Assistant, you will :

Undertake administrative duties including but not limited to filing, printing / creating new client charts, organizing files for storage, processing and assigning of new private referrals, input of private referral information both client and orders into system, contact with clients and funders re billing issues

  • Provide phone support to team and / or at front desk by triaging and managing incoming and outgoing phone calls from patients, care providers, referral sources and other
  • Enter and complete cancellation reports e.g. Automatic Provider Reports (APRs) as determined by the Supervisor
  • Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner and contains clear, appropriate and required information
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy while using the Procura system.
  • Greet, assist and manage both staff / clients at the front desk in a manner that demonstrates the values of CBI Home
  • To be successful in the role of Team Assistant, you must :

  • Have exceptional customer service skills including excellent telephone etiquette
  • Demonstrated computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Be able to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Demonstrate understanding and compassion when dealing with complex clients and challenging situations involving customers and field
  • Be a detail-oriented, adaptable and customer-focused team player
  • Combine strong interpersonal skills with analytical problem-solving abilities
  • Be self-directed, goal-oriented and able to manage time and priorities effectively
  • Possess medical knowledge or a medical background, and supervisory skills will be considered assets, and French speaking an asset
