Qualifications Must-Have :

  • A keen desire to learn and keep up-to-date with the methodologies used in the Innovation Hub
  • i.e. design thinking, integrative thinking, collaborative methodologies, ethnography, etc.)

  • An Entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to work in a somewhat ambiguous, ever-changing,
  • dynamic and fast paced environment

  • Agency and initiative plus a positive attitude and desire to bring positive change to UofT
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills, able to collaborate in a team which is diverse and
  • interdisciplinary, as well as students from diverse backgrounds, programs and study levels

  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills (previous blogging or article writing
  • experience will be an asset in this role)

  • Superior time management and administrative skills and the ability to work with tight
  • deadlines

  • Strong visual design skills and exemplary MS Office skills
  • Flexible and adaptable is excited by performing a variety of roles and tasks
  • Assets :

  • Experience with design thinking, integrative thinking and / or qualitative research methodology
  • Skill and expertise in conducting and analyzing qualitative data and research.

  • This job is open to current students who will continue as students in 2019-2020.
  • This role offers 15 hours per week with at least 2 hours per day (Mon-Fri) spent in the office

    between 9am and 4pm. Regular hours will be set to be flexible based on your course schedule. This

    is a 12-month contract from January December, 2019. The successful candidate must be available to

    continue in this position in the 2019-20 academic year.
