NFS382H1S : Vitamin and Mineral Metabolism Throughout the Life Cycle
Micronutrients are essential for health throughout the life cycle. This course examines the role of micronutrients during development and aging with some emphasis on disease prevention and pathogenesis.
Students develop critical appraisal skills, an understanding of the principles of study design and learn to write in a scientific style.
3 hours weekly, Mondays : 9 : 00-10 : 00 AM; Wednesdays : 9 : 00-11 : 00AM
January 4 to April 1, 2021 (no class Feb 15 & 17-reading week)

Applicants should have a research-focussed graduate degree (PhD preferred) in nutrition; teaching experience an asset
Normal teaching duties in-person and / or online (i.e, plans course readings, plans content, co-ordinates any guest speakers, provide lectures, sets and evaluates assignments, supports student learning, supervises TAs.)
