Primary contact in Toronto for experience management platform, working closely with Business Development, Knowledge Management, Marketing and other key stakeholders.
Work with lawyers and members of business development and marketing teams to gather information regarding legal work experience across a range of practice areas and industries, apply appropriate tagging using Stikeman Elliott taxonomies, identify and source missing matter details through internal and external sources, draft persuasive matter descriptions and work with communications teams to effectively position across communication and media channels.
Develop customized and advanced searches and reports in support of new business generation.
Channel relevant matters to appropriate Business Development and Marketing team members for posting on intranet, submitting to League Tables, including in Directory and Award Submissions, as well as internal reporting.
Primary contact with the IT department for troubleshooting, reporting and testing technical issues with experience management platform.
Understand and maintain the data structure of experience management platform; utilize reports to check for and resolve data integrity issues;
work with users to ensure that the best data is retained and shared.
Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and oversee regular reporting to verify that current levels of matters are as expected and users are effectively utilizing the tool.
Liaise with Knowledge Management team and the Training team to develop and roll-out onboarding and ongoing training for the experience management platform for lawyers, assistants and other users;
provide one-on-one training and support, as required.
Job Specifications : Qualifications :
Possess strong knowledge of business processes, data or information management, and data quality standards and processes
Familiarity with and a willingness to learn about various aspects of legal practice
Excellent analytical, research, editing and organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail
Advanced excel skills; experience with Power BI would be an asset
An ability to handle time-sensitive requests from multiple lawyers and to generate quality work product in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal skills; a confident, professional manner with the ability to communicate with executive stakeholders
Education & Experience :
Law degree and / or Master in Library and Information Studies
Minimum of two years of law firm experience
Significant experience with management of large data sets and software application usage
Experience with CRM implementation and roll-out an asset
