The Bell Mobility Finance team is seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager with strong financial and analytical skills to join the Mobility Product Finance team.

Product Finance will be a key contributor to the overall Finance team. This includes but is not limited to the preparation and presentation of monthly results and KPI versus forecast / prior year, working with the Mobile Devices & Logistics team to develop forecasts and drive value added financial analysis in a very competitive wireless market.

An ideal candidate will become a valuable asset to the overall team by developing an in-depth understanding of various business functions such as Smartphone Warranty Program, Accessories sales, Freight / Warehousing, Inventory Provision, Activation / Upgrade fees as well as various adhoc analysis.

The successful candidate will be able to synthesize large amounts of data from various sources and provide detailed analyses to highlight key opportunities and risks to senior executives.

The successful candidate will need to possess an accounting background coupled with strong analytical and critical thinking skills and a clear ability to identify business trends and issues.

The candidate will also have the capacity to build relationships at various levels of the organization and the confidence to participate in Senior-

level discussions. In addition, the candidate will lead their team to complete specified tasks under tight deadlines within a fast-

paced working environment.

Job Duties / Accountabilities :

  • Responsible for month-end close including review of journal entries and preparing detailed reporting decks and KPI information
  • Working with the business to build detailed driver based forecasts and budgets as well as in-month outlooks
  • Lead your team in order to develop, maintain and analyze large amounts of data to support executive decision making
  • Support financial / strategic reviews with the Senior Management team
  • Obtain information from various internal and external systems and build financial models that make efficient use of data from various sources
  • Effectively lead cross-functional teams as well as direct reports
  • Required Qualifications / Competencies :

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting. CPA / MBA preferred
  • Experience with developing business cases, adhoc financial analysis and providing recommendations to senior management
  • Comfortable working with various financial systems and a superior working knowledge of Excel
  • Minimum 5 years of finance related work experience
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation skills)
  • Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Business confidence, professional acumen, and internal initiative are key
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and information effectively
  • Able to self-manage, successfully complete unstructured tasks, and is results oriented
  • Comfort in dealing with ambiguity and working on several deliverables simultaneously
  • Ability to partner with cross-functional Finance teams & colleagues
  • Proactively looks for opportunities for business improvements
  • Have a flexible schedule during peak periods
  • Wireless experience is considered an asset
