Based in downtown Toronto, you will be a key member of the Marketing team that ensures Virgin Plus successfully drives traffic to the store and website and converts that traffic into mobile activations.

Reporting into the Senior Manager, Marketing, Virgin Plus, you will be responsible for planning and executing various marketing campaigns, including mass quarterly campaigns and direct campaigns to the base.

A quick description about the job :

  • Campaign design and development, supporting all areas of marketing (product, price, promotion and distribution)
  • Lead a cross functional team to define campaign strategic plans, and support the development of highly effective tactical plans to ensure maximum impact to the Virgin bottom line
  • Deliver against portfolio growth targets in a fast-paced market, in which the only constant is change and lots of it!
  • Clearly identify market opportunities through data analysis, and drive the organization to take action
  • Drive critical KPIs and manage weekly targets including weekly activation scorecard and campaign performance reporting
  • Meet aggressive due dates on project implementation
  • Post mortem development and analysis
  • Develop strong working relationships with Sales, Channel Marketing, Web and Member Care teams to deliver integrated communications across all touch-points
  • Influence others for shared business gain (you’re both motivated and motivating)
  • Multi-task, multi-task, multi-task (did we mention you’ll need to multi-task?)
  • The must haves’ :

  • University degree or College Diploma with a business / marketing focus preferred
  • 2-3 years experience in progressive marketing / business strategy positions
  • Experience executing highly targeted marketing campaigns
  • You’re an out-of-the-box thinker with strong analytical skills
  • Strong business acumen and comfortable with numbers in a fast paced environment
  • You have a razor-sharp attention for detail
  • Mobile phone / telecom experience a big, huge, giant plus. (Yes, with a cherry on top.)
  • You’re a Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint Wiz
  • You love walking the halls, collaborating cross-functionally, and crafting solutions
  • You have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and you’re comfortable presenting
