Hybrid Role- Tuesday / Wednesday in the office.
DEPARTMENT / TEAM DESCRIPTION :
Commercial Operations : Our mission is to provide leadership and oversight of key business processes and infrastructure supporting Consumer Health to enable efficiency and growth.
We lead strategic projects for CH Canada which include topics such as Innovation Pipeline, Sustainability, Regional Harmonization, M&A, Cost Efficiency, Digital Transformation, and / or others as needed.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
1) Connect shoppers to our brands at retail with a customer centric approach by creating profitable, innovative, and sustainable display solutions that drive business growth.
2) Enable the delivery of a best-in-class innovation pipeline by leading the Innovation and Initiatives (I&I) process
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Promotional Display :
Leads the development of creative cost-effective merchandising solutions that increase brand image and sell-through
Reviews and validates cost quotations
Develops project timelines, tracks, and communicates project status.
Budget Management : Forecast, actuals monitoring, and reporting
Management of promotional display excess
Prepares and maintains merchandising catalogue as a Sales tool.
Proactively identifies retail merchandising opportunities and drives merchandising innovations.
Vendor management to support creative design, graphics and display build.
Innovation & Initiatives (I&I) :
Lead cross-functional monthly meetings by category / brand to ensure visibility and alignment to the Innovation pipeline.
Responsible for the I&I tracker.
Provide guidance to the Commercial Innovation Lead on the key project milestones and activities required for gate approval in the I&I Governance Process.
Lead the monthly I&I meeting : Define the agenda based on the I&I tracker and ensure pre-reads are delivered to the I&I committee on time.
Responsible for the Innovation project creation and approval tracking in the LPPM system to support NPD / other project launch timelines
IN-OUT Tracker ownership to support new, change item system set up supporting Exceedra Sales Planning.
REQUIREMENTS / PREFERENCES :
3-yr BA degree or equivalent
Min 5-year experience managing visual merchandising projects in OTC or Client
Broad business experience in packaged goods / OTC / Healthcare industry with an understanding of packaging development / design, supply chain / operations, product development and marketing.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Demonstrated experience in team leadership / facilitation, decision-making, process management, analytical skills, negotiating and conflict-management skills, risk management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills, including MS Office
