The Riders are currently scouting for a creative, driven individual to join our Marketing team! This year marks our 110th anniversary and we are hosting the biggest party of the year, the 108th Grey Cup Championship game and festival! The Grey Cup 2020 Marketing Specialist will report to and work closely with the Manager, Marketing, the Director, Marketing and the Grey Cup 2020, Executive Director, to plan and deliver Marketing and Brand initiatives regarding the 2020 Grey Cup to the Club and external stakeholders.
This role will serve in a cross functional role, directly and indirectly supporting all key business verticals while focusing on coordinating resource allotment and Grey Cup and Rider brand enhancement.
This eight month term position will run from April 1st, 2020 - November 30th, 2020.

Major Responsibilities :
Responsible for project management regarding all Grey Cup marketing needs
Leading in the development, adoption and execution of Grey Cup social media strategies and tactics to support Rider Marketing communication needs
Developing Grey Cup marketing plans that include objectives, strategies, tactics and measurement components for key business streams
Assisting in the creation and adopting of new and existing social media, traffic, and data reporting tools, converting raw data into easy to digest reports to measure program effectiveness
Proactively lead and execute Grey Cup marketing and communication programs to support our Grey Cup sponsorship organization while working hand in hand with corporate partners and external agencies
Leading the strategy and execution for email marketing for Grey Cup
Assisting in marketing research as needed including survey design and communication support for execution and maintenance
Developing Grey Cup brand and marketing presentation materials to support cross functional teams and communicate value of sponsorable digital assets and events
Working closely with external creative and digital agencies including graphic design, web and app development
Managing visual asset development timelines both physical and digital
Measuring marketing program effectiveness, analyze data and report on findings
Understanding market trends and applying them when appropriate through research and professional development opportunities
Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
Demonstrated experience in a Marketing role for a minimum of 3 years paired with a completion of secondary education, specializing in Marketing.
Strong understanding of digital and E-marketing and will lead the paid media plan execution that will aid in meeting the objectives of the Grey Cup.
Strong project management skills ensuring the marketing programs and projects are on time and on budget
Talent for executing on Marketing plans and strategy
Strong communication skills to oversee the voice of the brand on all external channels including greycupfestival.ca as well as the Grey Cup festival social accounts.
Detail oriented with great time management skills to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Able to take existing brand guidelines and direction to ensure consistency in advertising deliverables.
Passion and drive reflective in all work
Availability to work irregular hours including game days
