Territory Manager - Consumer Products
Our client is a leader in their category and due to an expansion of their business, they are seeking a strong Territory Manager to call on retail accounts through the Interior of BC, based in Kelowna.
This role will see you selling existing and new innovative products to small format retail accounts through the region. You should expect to be on the road most days visiting accounts, and you will be based from a home office for admin days.
Some of what you will do in this role includes :
Development of strong, long-term relationships with retail managers and staff
Achieve sales, distribution and market share objectives at your banners
Effectively present and use persuasive selling techniques to introduce products, features and benefits and educate store staff
Use CRM software to track engagement with stores
Implement effective trade marketing programs to drive traffic and consumption with your stores
Report back competitive information, incremental product loads and new opportunities
Attend trade shows where possible
You should have most of the following in your background to apply :
A minimum of 2-3 years of territory management or sales representative experience in consumer products, beverage alcohol, tobacco, pharma or cannabis
Post secondary education
Clean(ish) drivers abstract and clear criminal record
Strong application skills in business software and CRM apps
Excellent at public speaking and community engagement
