Why is this role important?

This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Engineering and supports the maintenance and development of Engineered Labour Standards within the Loblaw Distribution network.

With Distribution centers across Canada, the incumbent will need to be able to travel within Canada and work flexible hours as needed.

The role will require onsite data collection and analytics to support various business initiatives, projects and process changes.

What You'll Do :

Support audits and ensure Loblaw’s methodologies / integrity is maintained at all timesPerform data collection to support development and maintenance of Labour StandardsResolve any post-audit issues in a timely manner, and communicating the results to all required parties.

Support the creation of Labour Standards methodologies and implementationsDevelop new elements using MOST analysis and / or stopwatch studiesAnalyze Labour Standards trends and improvement impactsContinuous Improvement identification while on-site in Loblaw’s distribution NetworkPerform system updates as requiredSupport business ad-hoc projects as needed

What You'll Need :

Post-Secondary education in Industrial Engineering / Logistics or related disciplineExperience in a related field, preferably within a Supply Chain environmentExperience with Engineered Labour Standards data collection, standards development, documentation is considered an assetMOST certification / understanding is an assetPreferably experienced in warehouse operationsManhattan knowledge / experience preferredKnowledge of VBA and or Microsoft Access competency requiredSQL Knowledge is an assetAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentBe able to handle multiple tasks at the same time and be able to prioritize effectivelyMust be able to deal effectively and communicate with all levels of management and unionized colleaguesAbility to communicate complex topics to non-technical audiencesMust be able to work independently as well as in a team environmentMust be willing and able to travel across Canada as required (Approx.
