We are seeking an Electrical Innovations Manager to join our team and strengthen our Electrical Divisions !
The mission of the Electrical Innovations Manager is to provide electrical teams at Modern Niagara support and access to industry leading tools, ideas, training, analysis, resources and feedback to help maximize their ability to meet the demands of the project and exceed customer expectations.
The individual will both improve and develop strategies to position Modern Niagara as an innovative leader within the electrical industry as it relates to installation, design, manufacturing and fabrication.
Overview of Responsibilities :
Work closely with electrical teams to leverage new and existing technology to streamline business.
Map out current systems and processes and implement corrective actions short and long term.
Implement current and new Construction Services initiatives within the electrical groups.
Continually improve methods and drive down expenses.
Establish strategic relationships.
Create strategies and tactics to improve delivered quality to reduce costs and minimize waste.
Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data.
Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
Perform risk assessments.
Implement and measure ROI’s.
Develop unified national processes, standards, and procedures.
Foster national collaboration.
Build out capabilities.
Be responsible for promoting teamwork and good company morale.
Conduct yourself with the highest ethical standards.
Qualifications and Experience :
Minimum 10-15 years in the construction industry with a focus on electrical project delivery or similar.
Willingness to travel.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work alone and in a team environment.
Participates in the development of overall objectives and long-term planning; provides leadership and direction that maximizes Modern Niagara's goals.
Advanced knowledge of construction management processes means and methods.
Expert knowledge of building products and systems, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
Ensure all aspects of the SMaC (Specific, Methodical and Consistent) recipe are applied;
