POSITION SUMMARY :

The role of the Director, Accounts is responsible for leading the business unit and ensuring its successful development and growth, from a business perspective and revenue perspective.

This role includes the development of strong teams and successful client relationships. This individual will serve as a thought leader for the execution of world-class digital programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report to COO / CPO / SVP while providing support to Account / Product teams and Finance department
  • Oversee daily responsibilities to ensure processes and procedures are being followed and assure quality control
  • Liaison ME contact between Bell Finance & Marketing teams and Media Experts
  • Get close : To the media; To the vendors; To clients’ business; Media Experts internal processes
  • Provide team leadership and mentoring; Directing team work and work flow
  • Direct buying & operational needs
  • Develop annual agreements with top vendors in Print / OOH category
  • Hiring, Supervising, training and performance reviews
  • Assist buyers when necessary; Assist executives with relevant requests
  • Oversee Value Summaries & Annual Agreements
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors
  • Accurate & understandable BCRs, MPAs and campaign reports
  • Timesheet reporting and reconciliation
  • Oversee accuracy of weekly billing & Update monthly vendor expenditures
  • Keep projections up to date
  • Quality control of annual reconciliation of media campaigns
  • Assure that all outstanding vendor invoices are reconciled
  • Oversee quarterly POP’s
  • REQUIRED SKILLS

  • In depth knowledge of primary tools that are accountable for media administration in relation to planning, buying and finance
  • An understanding of best business practices and corporate profitability
  • An extensive understanding of the capabilities and functionality of Adtraq
  • Provide solutions for more complex campaign management
  • Basic understanding of media reporting tools (Dart, NadBank, PMB)
  • Greater understanding of billing / paying procedures
  • Develop procedures for increasing internal efficiencies
  • Extensive understanding of Bell intranet
  • In depth knowledge of vendors and campaign execution
  • An advanced understanding of SharePoint functions
  • Media Knowledge :

  • Knowledge of the range of media vehicles and formats that are available to an advertiser in Canada
  • In depth understanding corporate profitability
  • Understanding of all media properties and the structure for reporting
