The Role :

As a Service Centre Analyst at CLBC, you will work as part of a team to operate the daily activities of the CLBC Service Centre and provide front-

line information technology support and problem resolution services (tier 1 and escalation to tier 2) in a centralized multi-

platform support environment.

As a key member of the IT Operations and Development work team, you will be responsible for :

  • Enabling / training users to use technology-related resources
  • Ensuring technical issues and requests are dealt with in an effective and timely manner
  • Ensuring business process issues and requests are dealt with and well understood.
  • Provide statistics, reporting and other information to the group on a regular basis
  • Liaising with Workplace Technology Services, MCFD and Solutions BC for issue resolution, general communications, and coordination of service and support requests.
  • This is the role for you if you are able to work effectively in a diverse, complex and dynamic environment where shifting priorities are common and expected.

    Superior judgment, problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and excellent customer service are key skills required for this role.

    Qualifications :

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Management or Management Information Systems and 5 years related experience;
  • or a diploma in Information Technology with 10 years related experience; or other relevant equivalent combination of education, experience and training may be considered

    Experience in systems analysis, software development and production support; and demonstrated familiarity with all phases of the software development life cycle.
