The primary function of the Customer ServiceAssociate (CSA) Front End is to assist customers with all of theirshopping needs.

The CSA Front End is required to respond tocustomer inquiries and support them throughout their shoppingexperience including promoting customer loyalty plans and / orextended protection / replacement plans whereappropriate.

Duties also include processing customer salesand returns by operating a cash register, hanuling internet andpick-up orders, looking up merchandise information for pricematches, and providing assistance to other team members as needed.

The CSA Front End is also responsible for aliressing customercomplaints over the phone and in person. The CSA Front End isexpected to maintain a safe and secure work environment byconducting daily safety reviews, noting hazards, keeping storeareas clean and organized, and monitoring for potential theft orsecurity risks.

Lastly, the CSA Front End is responsible forcompleting all other duties as assigned. Requires morning,afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week.

Requiredto work a schedule as determined by sales, customer, and businessneeds, but may be changed by store management based on the needs ofthe store.

  • Requests to be scheduled off for a specific day requireadvanced notification and approval by supervisor. Hourly Full Time,Part Time or Seasonal : Generally scheduled 40, 24 to 30, or 0 to 40hours per week respectively;
  • more hours may be required based onthe needs of the store. This position reports to an Assistant StoreManager and takes daily direction from a Department Manager.

    Thisposition does not have directreports.

    Minimum Qualifications

    6 monthsexperience using a computer, including inputting, accessing,modifying, or outputtinginformation.

    6 monthsexperience using a handheld device (e.g., mobile phone, LRT gun,palm pilot, tablet, iPod) to enter, access, and outputinformation.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Associate'sDegree or Diploma in Business, Retail Management, Specialty relatedto department (e.g., design, appliances), or relatedfield.

    6 months experience identifying and sellingproducts based on customer needs, including credit cards,installations, ali-on sales, and explaining warranties, productfeatures, and benefits.

    6 months retail experience.6months experience as a cashier.

    Lifts up to 25 poundswithout assistance; may lift up to 30 pounds with or withoutassistance.

    The Customer Service Associate - Front End maybe required to perform job activities, with appropriateintermittent relief where applicable, under difficult workconditions such as in extreme cold, heat, inclement weather, atheights, while exposed to constant / intermittent sounds (ifapplicable).
