The role :

  • Guide senior business stakeholders through the Digital Solutions and Business Technology (DSBT) intake process by working with them and various subject matter experts (SMEs) to convert a problem description to a well-articulated business case (including defining the Clear Choice solution and Total Cost of Ownership)
  • Research technology solutions and continuously expand own’s knowledge in order to support the DSBT intake and solutioning efforts as per assigned customer requests
  • Define, analyze and interpret complex business needs into clearly articulated business requirements documents, user stories, process models, minimal viable product definition, and other associated deliverables
  • Actively contribute to project / program / product deliverables (whether in agile or waterfall methodology) and support the execution of design, build, test, training, and roll out
  • Provide technical advice, guidance and coaching to Business stakeholders and project team members to enable the achievement of team deliverables and objectives
  • Actively contributing to CoPs that are of interest to you; building your skills in new areas, sharing experiences and deepening thought leadership in your area of expertise
  • You are :

  • Able to work independently taking a business request from problem statement through discovery by assembling the right stakeholder and subject matter experts.
  • Technology savvy you have education and / or experience supporting technology development / implementation efforts.
  • Analytical you seek to facilitate data-driven decision making, including rolling up your sleeves to collect data, research and build models.
  • A problem solver Your skills to diagnose challenges and issues, develop innovative business solutions, and assess risks and opportunities that may affect the business have been put to good use.
  • A project manager you can shift from big-picture to detail effortlessly and use your planning & organizational skills to achieve your objectives in a logical sequence.
  • You have :

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, technology or related field
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in business analysis or a related field
  • Bonus points, if you have :

  • Experience working in the Financial Services or Financial Technologies industries
  • Lean Six Sigma training is an asset
  • Prosci or similar Organizational Change Management training is an asset
  • PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) designation or similar is an asset
  • PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) designation or similar is an asset
  • The team :

    In this role, you will report into Manager, Intake & Business Analysis within the broader Project Management Office (PMO) team as part of Digital Solution and Business Technologies (DSBT) department.
