Job description

  • Assist the manager with store operations (purchasing, inventory, cash, cost management, etc.) and replace the manager when necessary
  • Ensure staff provides outstanding customer service
  • Serve and give advice to customers
  • Participate in staff management (hiring, training, evaluation, supervision, work schedules)
  • Help with purchasing and with managing store inventory and equipment
  • Ensure staff complies with the standards established by Première Moisson in the areas of product marketing, quality, and hygiene and sanitation
  • Ensure staff applies health and safety standards.

  • Skills

  • Training : Secondary school diploma (experience may compensate for lack of training)
  • Work experience : Two years in a similar position, preferably in the food or food-service field
  • Technical knowledge : General knowledge of the operations of a food or food-service retail storeRelevant knowledge of sales techniques, customer service and human-
  • resource managementMastery of spoken and written FrenchMastery of spoken English (asset)
