Position Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Catastrophe Claims Adjuster to join our team in Southern Ontario. This role will involve travel to other countries / locations as required.

Under general supervision, evaluates and settles multi-line claims of modest to complex exposure by investigating losses, negotiating settlements and reporting obtained information in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining adequate production levels.

Requirements

To be successful, Catastrophe Adjusters must have :

  • Valid adjuster's license in place of residence (where required by law)
  • Minimum 1 year claims adjusting experience
  • Must be able to travel on short notice and remain on location for indefinite periods
  • Acceptable results on pre-employment, criminal background check and motor vehicle records check
  • Knowledge of Xactimate / Xactware or similar estimating software an asset
  • Auto Certification, Fire Certification and NFIP Flood Certification an asset
