As an HR Coordinator / Client Service Representative, Shared Services , you will report to the Team Lead, Shared Services, and play a key role within People Services (Human Resources).

  • Your Responsibilities :

  • Customer Service : Act as the first line of support for current and prospective CRC employees in resolving a wide variety of HR inquiries and requests actively triaging, resolving, and / or escalating each item as defined by service level agreements
  • Recruitmen t : Effectively support the recruitment process for assigned positions including posting roles, generating offer letters, closing requisitions and troubleshooting any user issues with our current Applicant Tracking System - Taleo
  • Onboarding : Coordinate the payroll & onboarding packages, complete background checks, and ensure a smooth transition for employees joining the CRC
  • Offboarding : Support the offboarding process including necessary paperwork, exit interviews & ensuring a smooth transition for employees exiting the CRC
  • Service Awards : Provide administrative information & support in regards to all CRC annual service awards and recognition programs
  • Disability Management : Collaborate with HR Business Partners on disability management files including initiating claims & providing administrative support to the disability management process
  • Volunteer Engagement : Support the recruitment and engagement of a pool of HR volunteers as required
  • Disaster Response :

  • During times of disaster response, this role may provide Human Resources support within the HR Emergency Response Structure, or extended coverage for business continuity
  • This could include deployments away from home for periods of several weeks, supporting an emergency response virtually from your current location or working extended hours within your current location to support business continuity
  • Your Skills :

  • Superior customer service & attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong data entry skills, as well as the ability to understand detailed information
  • Proven ability to remain organized, prioritized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while managing time effectively
  • Ability to form effective working relationships
  • Effective problem solving skills, and the ability to take initiative
  • Your Education and Experience :

  • College diploma in a related discipline (Human Resource, Volunteer Resources, Business, Administration) and / or 1-2 years of HR experience, preferably in a shared services environment
  • Experience providing client service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Your Assets to the Role :

  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Experience with administration of online learning software
  • Experience working in a not for profit environment and / or working with volunteers
  • Bilingual (English / French)
  • Working Conditions :

  • You will be performing your job in an office environment as part of a virtual team
  • Meetings and supervision will be a combination of in person, telephone or other electronic means
  • Working hours of service will be based on 35-hour work weeks, Monday to Friday with availability to be on call for occasional weekends
  • This position also requires a satisfactory Canadian criminal record & reference check.
