We are currently recruiting Junior Pastry Chef de Parties to work on-board for our European client, operating 4 and 5* cruise ships.
Rotation : 6 months on, 2 months off
Salary : Â£1968 per month on-board
Various start dates within the upcoming weeks.
â€¢Working as part of a team of 165 chefs, catering for 1000+ covers per sitting
â€¢Working on a smaller team of 10-15 Junior Pastry Chef de Parties, Commis Chefs and Trainee Commis Chefs
â€¢Providing professionally prepared pastries, desserts, breads and confectionary according to the Corporate Menu Cycle
â€¢Min. 10 working hours per day
â€¢Prior experience in a pastry-based role within either a 4 or 5* hotel, a rosette standard or Michelin starred restaurant, or cruise line
â€¢Must hold NVQ III Food Production Qualification, City & Guilds 706 1 / 2 or other relevant qualification / apprenticeship
â€¢It is also advantageous to hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
â€¢Must speak, read and write English fluently
â€¢Experience working within a fine dining and high volume environment
â€¢Organised with an eye for details
Uniform is provided on-board, but chefs are welcome to take their own knives.
