We are looking to add an experienced Senior Consultant to join our ever-growing, established and successful team.

Key Role & Responsibilities :

  • Define performance scenarios based on the project requirements
  • Create test data requirements, visualize and create performance test environment
  • Leverages a variety of tools and techniques to measure, profile, and optimize application performance in a multi-tiered environment (UI, Server, Database, Network, Services, etc.)
  • Script Performance tests, execute them, produce results and help analyze bottlenecks working cross-functionally with business, engineering and support.
  • Drive performance tuning with architects, developers and help with development of iterative performance enhancement
  • Able to perform hands on work in any one or more than one of the market leading Performance Testing tools LoadRunner, RFT, HP Performance Center
  • Provide estimation for Performance Testing efforts
  • Provide key inputs on performance methodology, planning, activities, and deliverables.
  • Develops performance test frameworks for development teams to utilize as part of delivery pipeline testing. Designs and executes load, stress, endurance and capacity tests, analyzes and reports results.
  • Implements Performance Engineering discipline standards and best practices and proliferates across the agile development teams.
  • Innovate on current thinking and develop new approaches to change how organizations and teams integrate performance testing in software and systems delivery
  • Excite & motivate fellow practitioners and set them up for success in completing their scope of work
  • Contribute in sales pursuits and business development within the Technology Consulting practice.
  • Contribute to knowledge management within our Technology Consulting practice.
  • Qualifications

    Required Experience and Educational Background :

  • We are looking for high-performing and dynamic candidates who possess a successful track record as well as the following qualifications :
  • Minimum of 6 years related technology experience, including a minimum of 4 years’ experience in performance engineering / Testing or related role.
  • Expertise in performance engineering, tuning and testing applications (Capacity Planning, Performance Tuning).
  • Hands-on experience with at least one of the following programming languages : Java, C#, JavaScript.
  • 2 to 4 years of strong hands-on knowledge of Performance Testing tools (JMeter, BlazeMeter, LoadRunner, HP Performance Center, RPT, Gatling, etc.
  • including CI / CD capable frameworks).

  • Proficiency with database / BI technology stack and related performance optimization / tuning preferred : SQL Server.
  • Good knowledge of Testing manual / functional testing processes, methodology, Defect management and defect life cycle.
  • Excellent understanding of SDLC and STLC
  • BS / MS in Computer Science or related field
  • Must be willing to travel 80 to 100%
  • Other Desired Attributes :

  • In-depth knowledge of diverse and emerging technologies and new architectural concepts and principles (i.e. Cloud-native architecture, micro-
  • services, single page application model)

  • Provides input to major architectural design decisions to improve performance and ensure consistency, scalability, and maintainability
  • Adapt quickly to a changing environment.
  • Quickly learn new concepts and software as necessary.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team player.
  • Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation and best practices.
  • Ability to work in high paced environment with multitasking skills
  • Ability to support engagements of greater than average size and complexity
