Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Senior Pursuit Leader to be based within Ontario . This position will have accountability towards coordinating and producing competitive proposals, presentations, and marketing materials for GHD’s five global markets throughout North America.
GHD’s markets include water, environment, property & buildings, transportation & energy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for :
Coordinate and produce high quality, persuasive proposals, marketing collateral and presentations. Handle multiple proposals and meet deadlines.
Assist the Region Business Development Leader with management of the West Pursuit Coordinators workload.
Assist the Region Business Development Leader with hiring, training and team integration. Facilitate any proposals production system upgrades.
Maintain opportunity pipeline data (CRM tools) and track Top Pursuits for assigned market Service Group(s). Create, update and edit project descriptions and resumes.
Assist the Region Business Development Leader with tracking sales hit rate, backlog, and other BD KPI’s and FY goals, such as documenting client debriefs.
Work closely with Principals, Client Sector Leaders, and the Region Business Development Leader to conduct Go No Go discussions while helping develop Win strategies.
Work collaboratively with other Pursuit Leaders, sharing best practices for proposal / interview production and balancing workload during weekly team teleconferences.
Facilitate client meetings, client care visits, events and conferences.
Participate in industry organizations that help build GHD brand, e.g. Society of Marketing Professionals (SMPS).
Skills, Competencies and Qualifications :
An Associates or Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing or related major.
10+ years of experience in coordinating and writing technical proposals for an A / E, construction or professional organization.
Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) desired but not mandatory.
Understanding of A / E technical terminology, project management structure, and engineering discipline functions.
Familiarity with standard A / E proposal forms.
Strong computer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite Software with some graphics capabilities.
InDesign proficiency preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
