Our valued public sector client requires the services of a Business Transformation Architect to support the EBIDM capability transformation initiative.

The Business Transformation Architect provides leadership and expert advice in the development of business transformation design and business architecture related to the EBIDM capability transformation initiative.

Tasks :

  • Provide leadership and guidance for the design, development and implementation of the EBIDM capability transformation business architecture;
  • Support the design and development of EBIDM business capability and supportingbusiness architecture, performance standards and application of business transformation processes;
  • Develop business success critical success factors and KPIs for the transformation and for the ongoing operations of the EBIDM capability;
  • Identify and assess the organizational, technology and process impacts of changes to the current EBIDM capability and propose strategies to accelerate adoption of the new capability;
  • Provide business rationale, justification and benefits realization plans to support EBIDM capability transformation initiatives and projects;
  • Develop a transformation strategy, approach and roadmap aligned to leading practices that maximize speed of implementation and benefits realization;
  • Establish the transformation management roles and responsibilities;
  • Develop transformation implementation plans and release schedules for the deployment of EBIDM capability processes, technology and organizational roles and competencies;
  • Design training and performance support strategies and implementation plans to meet learning requirements and performance targets;
  • Develop and implement an issue and risk management approach; identify and manage EBIDM capability transformation risks and issues and provide issue management and risk mitigation strategies;
  • Build tools and templates necessary to drive and guide the implementation activities and measure and report on progress of the transformation;
  • Plan, organize and lead transformation management workshops and training sessions;
  • Create documentation, presentations and consultations to socialize the transformation approaches, plans and tools and obtain management approval, buy-in;
  • Optimize business transformation approaches based on evolving business needs and technology capabilities;
  • Propose, develop and implement required governance structures;
  • Oversee the stabilization of operationsof the EBIDM capability following implementation :
  • Monitor performance to identify issues, gaps and opportunities for improvement;
  • Identify and implement optimization and standardization initiatives;
  • Calibrate resources across the horizontal lines of operations;
  • Identify opportunities for organizational realignment (e.g. organizational re-structuring based on business performance) due to overlapping processes or other inefficiencies; and
  • Practice continuous improvement processes and procedures to eliminate non-value added activities;
  • Develop and deliver business transformation alignment / architecture presentations to senior management; and
  • Provide business transformation knowledge transfer, coaching and / or training to personnel as required. Management Consultant Business Architecture >
  • 10 years 10 years of experience as a Business Architect (Must-have)

    Secret clearance (Must-have)

    a project within the last five years, demonstrating experience working with senior Government Officials (DG and above) to architect a business transformation strategy driven by a need to achieve defined measurable benefits and was governed by a defined methodology for realizing the benefits (Must-have)

    minimum fifteen (15) years’ experience providing professional services as a Business Transformation Architect (Must-have)

    minimum of five (5) years of relevant project experience in establishing and implementing training approaches and strategies supporting the transformation of enterprise capabilities (Must-have)

    minimum of ten (10) years of relevant project experience in IM / IT-enabled business initiatives (Must-have)

    one project within the last seven years, of at least twelve (12) months duration, demonstrating experience working with senior Government Officials (DG and above) to architect an IM / IT business transformation strategy to transition people and processes to a new Operational Model similar to the scope within the EBIDM SOW (Must-have)

    one project, similar to the EBIDM SOW, which included the business transformation and implementation of performance improvement of an IM / IT Service Delivery capability (Must-have)

    post-secondary degree / diploma from a recognized institution (e.g. MBA, Education, Change Management) or equivalent. (Must-have)
