Senior Manager, Product Marketing, Toronto

Reporting to the Director, Market Access, Hospital & Product Marketing and responsible for the launch, promotion and product lifecycle management of Teva’s broad generic portfolio in Canada.

Working with other internal departments, the Senior Manager will contribute to the successful launch of new products and enhance the share and profitability of the generic portfolio.

While the primary focus is generic pharmaceuticals, there are opportunities to collaborate on OTC, Brands and Biosimilars.

Responsibilities :

  • Represent the Canadian market during global portfolio meetings and contribute to the selection process for pipeline & portfolio products
  • Provide input to the development of new product launch forecasts
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders on the launch excellence process
  • Lead the Product Lifecycle Management process and provide recommendations on molecule, strength and / or SKU level.
  • Monitor and enhance portfolio performance using IQVIA and other data sources
  • Communicate new product launches, discontinuations and other product updates to field sales, customers and other stakeholders
  • Manage the generic product portfolio catalogue on the Teva Canada website
  • Travel within US and Canada to attend field sales meetings
  • Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in science, health sciences or finance / business
  • 5+ years of successful product management and marketing experience in the Canadian generic pharmaceutical industry
  • Comprehensive understanding of the generic pharmaceutical product lifecycle including the regulatory approval pathway and market access process
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially advanced Excel functions
  • Practical experience with IQVIA applications (Analysis Manager, Integrated Market Access Console)
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • French language proficiency would be an asset
