CourseDescription : An interdisciplinary analysis of therelationship of women to a variety of psychological and psychoanalyticaltheories and practices.

Topics include gender development, stereotyping andgender roles, the impact of gender on intimate relationships, women and thepsychological establishment, women's mental health issues and feministapproaches to psychoanalysis. 24L

Class Schedule : Mondays,Wednesdays, 6-8

Sessional Dates of Appointment : July 1, 2019 - August 30, 2019

Salary : Sessional Lecturer 1 : $16,320.00 for a Y course; $8,160.00for an H course.

Please note that should ratesstipulated in the Collective Agreement vary from rates stated in this posting,the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.

Qualifications : Demonstratedeffectiveness as an instructor, academic qualifications in the subject, abilityto introduce students to a diverse range of approaches, and suitability for theposition.

  • Description of Duties : Preparation and delivery of coursecontent; development, administration and marking of assignments, tests andexams;
  • calculation and submission of grades (including any grading orsubmission of grades not completed by the end of session : June 30, 2019 for theF session and August 30, 2019 for the S);
  • holding regular office hours; supervisingTAs (if any) assigned to the course.
