About the Role
The role of Configuration Administrator refers to the administration of Configuration Management (CM) activities to ensure that the CM functions relative to change management, status accounting and audits are consistently applied to maintain the product configuration throughout its lifecycle in accordance with contractual requirements, CM practices, and QA standards.
Maintain the updates of the CM procedures in the BPMS (Business Process Management System), and serve as the CM group’s subject matter expert for BPMS documents.
Investigate and fix historical errors and update the ERP system with correct information
Able to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels
Able to effectively manage high volume workloads
Working knowledge of Configuration guidelines EIA-649 and CMII an asset
Desired Experience and Education
College Diploma in Business or Technology Program, or equivalent
2 years’ experience in Configuration Management, or Scheduling / Planning
CM certification an asset
