Maintenance Technician (Injection Moulding)

Roevin Recruitment is currently searching for a Maintenance Technician (Injection Moulding)for our client a leader in their specialized manufacturing technology.

In this position, daily responsibility is to manage maintenance related activities to injection moulding equipment and robotics, and facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS Maintenance Technician (Injection Moulding)

  • 3+ years’ experience in maintenance role in injection molding or closely related industry, working on machinery, automation, services and facilities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of machinery and machinery controls, including PLCs, robots, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic prints, understand BOMs and schematics.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills.
  • In depth knowledge of manufacturing equipment and related processes, plant facilities, services and infrastructure.
  • Good communication skills and a team player working with people at all levels. Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Valid class G1 driver’s license
  • Basic computer skills
  • Assets :
  • Trade certifications (electrical, millwright)
  • Knowledge of GMP, Clean room, and ISO procedures
  • WHMIS training
  • Current Forklift license (Counterbalance Electric)
  • RESPONSIBILITIES - Maintenance Technician (Injection Moulding)

  • Maintain and repair molding machines, robots, material feed systems, thermolators, conveyor / packaging systems and support infrastructure.
  • Works in complete compliance to safety rules and procedures at all times, reports any hazards or incidents to manager immediately.
  • Installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of automation solutions.
  • Responds to machinery or manufacturing infrastructure or services breakdowns in a timely manner. Makes effective and timely repair in a cost-
  • effective manner. Drives corrective action to prevent recurrence of failure on same or related equipment.

  • Develops and performs preventative maintenance program for machinery and manufacturing infrastructure and services
  • Improves machine reliability using techniques like preventive maintenance analysis, corrective maintenance analysis and spare part analysis.
  • Participates in design and implements manufacturing engineering solutions.
