We’re looking for a to join our Consultant, L&D Systems & Technologies growing team!
Reporting to the Director, Learning and Development Center of Expertise, the Consultant, L&D Systems and Technologies helps implement the learning strategy and is responsible for managing technological resources for learning projects and rollouts.
The Consultant administers the LMS and other integrated tools and has the expertise to understand learning-related issues.
The Consultant works closely with the national Learning Center of Expertise’s learning and E-Learning consultants.
Location : Anywhere in Canada

Supplier management and relations
Participate in identifying, selecting and negotiating with external suppliers to source technological learning products or solutions, including developing business proposals.
Manage supplier relationships and collaborate to find solutions and good practices for challenges encountered by the learning teams.
Escalate supplier tickets when problems arise and track their resolution.
LMS and systems management
Ensure the development, implementation and maintenance of technological L&D solutions.
Supervise reporting on usage of the LMS, learning platforms and other L&D initiatives.
Work with the IT team on implementing systems and improving and developing tools.
Develop and distribute fast and effective learning content on LMS and other learning platform upgrades.
Provide LMS and learning platform assistance to the learning teams, including access management.
Solve technical issues, investigate and identify solutions to complex situations in systems related to the LMS or other learning platforms.
Work closely with the business units and coordinate collaboration during implementation or system upgrades of the LMS or other learning platforms.
Master’s degree in educational technology, bachelor’s degree in information technology or related experience
Knowledge of SharePoint and other Microsoft O365 collaboration tools
Extensive knowledge of LMS management and administration
Basic knowledge of IT architecture principles
Basic knowledge of eLearning design tools (Articulate, Captivate, etc.)
Bilingualism an asset
Basic knowledge of learning and adult learning principles an asset
Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, InDesign, After Effects, etc.) an asset
Self-learner, curious, resourceful and organized
Strong skills in solving complex problems within tight deadlines
Excellent soft skills and strong customer service orientation
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and within a team
